dc.description.abstractO objetivo geral deste trabalho é avaliar as características do conhecimento científico da tecnologia de IA na China, nos Estados Unidos e no Brasil. Ademais, os objetivos específicos são: uma introdução à teoria da inovação segundo o referencial neoschumpeteriano das revoluções tecnológicas no sistema capitalista; são apresentadas brevemente as definições e características das três principais tecnologias digitais IA, computação em nuvem e big data do século XXI; apresentar e analisar dados bibliométricos da base Scopus da tecnologia IA na China, Estados Unidos e Brasil. O trabalho se justifica devido à importância de instrumentos de um conjunto de políticas de inovação, como políticas industrial e tecnológica que juntas aumentam a competitividade de cada país. A metodologia empregada foi a análise descritiva da frequência do termo escolhido de IA nos títulos, resumos e palavras-chave de publicações científicas vinculadas à base de dados Scopus. A análise justifica-se devido a tecnologia de IA ainda estar em fase de desenvolvimento. Assim, as publicações científicas podem ser usadas para medir o conhecimento científico atual com o objetivo de facilitar futuras inovações. A problemática que este estudo sugeriu para ser discutido é: quais são as características do conhecimento científico relacionada à IA na China, nos EUA e no Brasil? A hipótese adotada é que a IA e suas áreas ainda estão em fase de desenvolvimento, e o número de publicações sobre essa nova tecnologia deve aumentar ao longo dos anos. Algumas das conclusões do trabalho são: foram encontradas as principais áreas de pesquisa em IA: ciência da computação, engenharia e matemática. Também pode-se concluir que a principal fonte de financiamento para pesquisa em IA nesses três países é pública.pt
dc.description.abstractThe general objective of this work is to evaluate the characteristics of scientific knowledge of AI technology in China, the United States and Brazil. Furthermore, the specific objectives are: an introduction to the theory of innovation according to the neo-Schumpeterian framework of technological revolutions in the capitalist system; are briefly the definitions and characteristics of the three main digital technologies AI, cloud computing and big data of the 21st century; present and analyze bibliometric data from the Scopus database of AI technology in China, the United States and Brazil. The work is justified due to the importance of instruments of a set of innovation policies, such an industry and technological policies that together increase the competitiveness of each country. The methodology used was the descriptive analysis of the frequency of the chosen AI term in the titles, abstracts and keywords of scientific publications linked to the Scopus database. The analysis is justified because the AI technology is still in the development phase. Thus, scientific publications can be used to measure current scientific knowledge with the aim of facilitating future innovations. The problem that this study suggested to be discussed is: what are the characteristics of scientific knowledge related to AI in China, the US and Brazil? The accepted hypothesis is that AI and its areas are still in the development phase, and the number of publications about this new technology should increase over the years. Some of the attempts of the work are: the main areas of research in AI were found: computer science, engineering and mathematics. It can also be concluded that the main source of funding for AI research in these three countries is public.en
