Resumo
Agroecology emphasizes the social dimension of healthy food production in diversity and quantity, giving priority to family work, which encompasses the production process, as well as the cultural dimension, rescuing, recovering and re-adapting traditional work techniques, allowing maintenance of the identity of the subjects of the field involved. These considerations ground our concern to understand the reality of the peasants and indigenous peoples of Mexico, specifically the states of Puebla, Oaxaca and Chiapas, and their experiences of life on Earth through practices similar to agroecology. For this, we propose to analyze these practices through the forms of life and work, as well as their struggles and resistances, and to establish approaches with the peasantry of Pontal do Paranapanema (Sao Paulo, Brazil).
