dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to investigate the influences of different parameters on the boiling phenomenon. A dimensionless analysis of the most important parameters is carried out and a correlation to describe the phenomenon of confined and unconfined nucleate boiling is presented. In order to validate the developed correlation, statistical analyses on the ratios of the experimental and correlated Nusselt numbers have been performed. Also, the values calculated for the heat transfer coefficient with the proposed correlation were compared with different correlations available in the literature.en
