This work of literature review aims to investigate the contributions of art and education in the construction of new social paradigms of post modernism. Regarding the theoretical source used in this research is worth mentioning the findings of studies Bauman (1999), Gadoti (2003), Pourtois e Desmet (1999), Touraine (1993), Marcuse (2000) and other authors here, are deemed essential to this work. Taking into account the values force of modernity, it is an analysis of educational needs for the XXI century, reflecting on the possibilities of paradigmatic change and the contributions of education and art for the destruction of the values of modern society and construction sensitive aspects essential to the new company, which although still maintaining many features of modernity is perceived subtly subject to changes that urge, especially of pedagogical changes, and the need to promote accessibility to art, which, therefore, presents to education as a tool in the construction of sensitivity, awareness and criticality necessary social changes.
