dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this article is modest. It is only to characterize the reductionist and emergentist perspectives, pointing out the distinctions between the two positions, as well as noting that although there is an approximation as to whether to accept an emergence of weak type, there is a distancing of these philosophical positions in concerns the emergence of strong type.en
