dc.description.abstractO filósofo e poeta Friedrich Schiller [1759-1805] pensou a tensão problemática do ser humano que, como cidadão de dois mundos, cindido entre razão e sensibilidade, vontade e necessidade, se deparou com um conflito no exercício pleno de sua liberdade. Assim, Schiller atribui à arte, especialmente à tragédia, a capacidade de tornar o ser humano livre, emancipando-o dos percalços que a modernidade lhe impôs em seu processo histórico, para colocá-lo sob a forma livre da arte trágica. Neste sentido, ele atribuiu elevada importância para a tragédia, pois ela seria um meio de reconciliação entre os opostos antagônicos que compõe o ser humano. A arte trágica convida seus espectadores para uma reflexão e, consequentemente, para o reconhecimento de suas emoções mais recônditas. É no palco, então, que a tragédia encontra espaço para expor simbolicamente as tensões da existência humana e a vontade por liberdade. Assim, a atividade lúdica da arte trágica é como um exercício para a vida, em que o ser humano se forma tal como é, em plena liberdade. Pode-se dizer que, para Schiller, a existência é um ato estético, pois sempre foi sinônimo de criação. Portanto, o objetivo desta pesquisa se configura em analisar a arte trágica, pensada por Schiller, e como ela contribui com o projeto filosófico-estético de Formação [Bildung] da humanidade.pt
dc.description.abstractThe philosopher and poet Friedrich Schiller [1759-1805] thought the problematic tension of the human being that, as citizen of two worlds, divided between reason and sensibility, will and necessity, is faced with a conflict in the plain exercise of his freedom. Therefore, Schiller attributes to art, especially to tragedy, the capacity to set him free, emancipating him from the obstacles that modernity imposed on him during its historical process, to put him under the play drive of tragical art. In this sense, Schiller attributed elevated importance onto tragedy, because it would be a way reconcile antagonizations that composes the human being. Tragical art invites its spectators to a reflection and, consequentially, to the recognition of their most underlying emotions. It’s on stage, so, that tragedy encounters its space to exposed in a symbolical manner the tensions of human existence and the will for freedom. And so, the ludic activity of tragical art is like an exercise to life, in which the human being forms itself like it is, in plain freedom. It can be said that, for Schiller, existence is an aesthetic act, because it has always been synonymous to creation. Therefore, the object of this research consists itself in analyzing tragical art, as thought by Schiller, and how it contributes to a philosophical and aesthetical project of Formation [Bildung] of humanity.en
