Projeto Raízes: o estudo do meio fazendo história

Abstract

The study of history has been reformulated through the years, thus allowing the use of new and diversified tools and resources aimed at the training of students. In this sense, it is understood that the Study of the Environment, contributes to the consolidation of the contents of the discipline, being a method of teaching, seeks to promote a contact between the subjects and the object of knowledge, enabling an approximation between the contents worked and the real situations experienced by the students, providing that this knowledge gain new meanings and allow the construction of feelings of belonging and identification with the history and with the places studied. From this perspective, this research aims to understand the contributions of the study of the environment in the teaching of history to the students of elementary school, through the Projeto Raízes, identifying their influences in the process of knowledge construction and historical and social perception of themselves as individuals and also on the environment that they are immersed. In order to develop this research, a case of study will be carried out with the Projeto Raízes of the municipality of Americana, São Paulo, which carries out studies of the environment, as a tool to work with local elementary school students. Because, from this perspective, it is believed that it could be made possible the development of a critical eye on what is lived daily

O estudo de História vem se reformulando atráves dos anos, oportunizando assim a utilização de novas e diversificadas ferramentas e recursos que visem a formação dos alunos. Neste sentido, entende-se que o Estudo do Meio, contribui para a consolidação dos conteúdos da disciplina, por ser um método de ensino, que busca promover um contato entre os sujeitos e o objeto do conhecimento, possibiltando uma aproximação entre os conteúdos trabalhados e as situações reais vivênciadas pelos alunos, proporcionando que este conhecimento ganhe significados e permitindo que se construa sentimentos de pertencimento e identificação com a história e com os locais estudados. Sob esta perspectiva, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender as contribuições do estudo do meio no ensino de história para os alunos do ensino fundamental, a partir do Projeto Raízes, identificando suas influências no processo de construção do conhecimento e da percepção histórica e social de si mesmos como individuos e do meio que estão inseridos. Para que se desenvolva a pesquisa, será realizado um estudo de caso, com o Projeto Raízes do município de Americana, São Paulo, este realiza estudos do meio, como ferramenta para trabalhar a história local com os alunos do ensino fundamental da rede municipal. Pois a partir disto acredita-se possibilitar a viabilização do desenvolvimento de um olhar crítico sobre aquilo que se convive cotidianamente
