| dc.description.abstract | Despite the fact that the secondary home phenomenon is not a recent event, this has detached itself in face of the new outlines that it denotes to the space where it occurs, mainly when it is situated in rural spaces. Given this perspective, the present work aims to study the spatial mobilities related to secondary homes localized in the rural medium, in their weekend and summer resort fluxes, in a way of analyzing the actions, interactions and dynamics established in the focused spaces. The research was conducted in Itaara and Restinga Seca cities, localized in Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil. Metodologically, it counted with bibliographic revision and quali-quantitative data collection, where we utilized question forms applied to 86 visitors and 25 interviews with municipal public administrators, private initiative and local community. The results showed that the secondary homes phenomenon affects the space where it occurs in various dimensions. They also showed that there are some differences concerning the importance attained by the periodicity of the fluxes, since they diverge in the intensity and the way in which they act in the space and relate with its surroundings. | en |
