A atividade da dança como possibilidade de inclusão social e desenvolvimento da função psicológica superior memória em crianças com Síndrome de Down

Abstract

A pesquisa aqui relatada é vinculada à Linha de Pesquisa 3 “Infância e Educação”, do Programa de Pós Graduação em Educação da FCT- UNESP/Presidente Prudente, com objetivo de investigar a importância da atividade da dança no processo de desenvolvimento da função psicológica superior memória em crianças com Síndrome de Down e, simultaneamente, contribuir com as discussões acerca dos processos de inclusão escolar desses sujeitos. Toma como referencial teórico e metodológico a teoria histórico-cultural e os princípios do método materialista histórico dialético. Defendemos a necessidade de inserção social dos sujeitos com deficiência nas escolas regulares, a partir da efetivação de um trabalho educativo coletivo humanizador respaldado em processos de ensino e aprendizagem baseados na teoria histórico-cultural. Foram sujeitos da pesquisa 4 (quatro) crianças, entre elas duas com Síndrome de Down e duas sem deficiência intelectual, na faixa etária entre 8 e 12 anos. Para a efetivação do processo de intervenção foram realizados 20 encontros no interior do LAR (Laboratório de Atividades Ludo-Recreativas da FCT– Unesp/Presidente Prudente), devidamente orientados pelos membros do GEIPEE-THC (Grupo de Estudos, Intervenção e Pesquisa em Educação Escolar e Especial e teoria histórico-cultural), no sentido de oferecer possibilidades de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento da memória voluntária dos sujeitos, enfatizando a atividade da dança reconhecida como uma linguagem cultural que veicula, através dos gestos corporais, conteúdos materiais e simbólicos advindos da cultura humana e que apresentam significados sociais...

The research reported here is linked to research line 3 Childhood and Education, the Graduate Program in Education of FCT-UNESP / Presidente Prudente, in order to investigate the importance of dance activity in the process of development of higher psychological function memory in children with Down syndrome and simultaneously contribute to discussions about the processes of educational inclusion of these subjects. Takes as a theoretical and methodological framework to cultural-historical theory and principles of dialectical historical materialist method. The research supports the need for social inclusion of individuals with disabilities in regular schools, from the realization of a collective humanizing educational work supported in teaching and learning based on cultural-historical theory. Research subjects were four (4) children, including 2 with Down syndrome and 2 without intellectual disabilities, aged between 8 and 12 years.
