Resumo

In the scenario of devaluation and precarious conditions of public health and education in Brazil, the UNESP- Marilia Pedagogical Residency Program in Sociology, chose to resist and continue the activities in 2021 and 2022. The didactic-pedagogical work of the program, in the formation of future education professionals, intended to perform a practice of emancipation and consciousness of young students. In view of this, the current experience report aims to reflect and analyze how the re-drafting of the Curriculo em Acao material is associated with a reinvention of Sociology teaching. The method used in this research was a bibliographic review of articles and works, permeated by the theme of education and emancipatory Sociology. It was concluded that the program resisted and capacitated teachers committed to a critical and humanizing teaching. It is in this sense that teaching Sociology was reinvented, by guaranteeing a pedagogical practice of transformation in the lives of these subjects.
