A bioética vem se difundido cada vez mais entre a sociedade e a comunidade acadêmica. Uma vez que o próprio conceito de "bioética" é cercado de polêmicas, diversas formas de abordá-la vêm se desenvolvendo, dentre elas na arte cinematográfica. O presente trabalho visa analisar os princípios bioéticos da Declaração Universal sobre Bioética e Direitos Humanos (DUBDH) de 2005 e refletir sobre os desafios enfrentados pela temática frente aos avanços tecnológicos da atualidade. Sendo assim, a DUBDH foi abordada de forma a correlacionar seus princípios bioéticos com a série “Biohackers” (2020). Para tal, presente trabalho realizou um estudo aprofundado dos conflitos e dilemas identificados na série e com o auxílio de artigos e plataformas de pesquisa como a Capes e a Scielo buscando-se relacionar tais conflitos à luz dos princípios 3 (Dignidade Humana e Direitos Humanos), 4 (Benefício e Dano), 8 (Respeito pela vulnerabilidade humana e pela integridade individual), 6 (Consentimento), 7 (Indivíduos sem a capacidade de consentir) e 15 (Compartilhamento de Benefício) da DUBDH. Conclui- se que a bioética é um campo em notável crescimento, influenciando diversas áreas do conhecimento e demonstrando, cada vez mais, sua contribuição para a reflexão e tomada de decisão em dilemas da vida real. Por fim, espera-se que o presente trabalho contribua com a divulgação da DUBDH como ferramenta de análise de certas situações do ponto de vista bioético, contribuindo para que a sociedade possa se apoderar desta ciência na busca por resoluções de problemas do cotidiano de forma ética.

Bioethics has been increasingly disseminated among society and the academic community. Since the "bioethics" concept is surrounded by discussions, several ways of approaching it have been developing, among them in cinematographic art. This final paper aims to analyze the bioethical principles of the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights (UDBHR) of 2005 and reflect on the challenges faced by the theme in the face of current technological advances. Therefore, the UDBHR was approached in order to correlate its bioethical principles with the series “Biohackers” (2020). To this end, the present work carried out an in-depth study of the conflicts and dilemmas identified in the series and with the help of articles and research platforms such as Capes and Scielo, seeking to relate such conflicts in the light of the principles 3 (Human Dignity and Human Rights), 4 (Benefit and Harm), 8 (Respect for human vulnerability and personal integrity), 6 (Consent), 7 (Persons without the capacity to consent) and 15 (Sharing of benefits) of the UDBHR. It is concluded that bioethics is a field in remarkable growth, influencing several areas of knowledge and increasingly demonstrating its contribution to reflection and decision-making in real-life dilemmas. Finally, it is expected that this final paper will contribute to the dissemination of the UDBHR as a tool for analyzing certain situations from a bioethical point of view, confident that society can take hold of this science aiming to solve daily problems in an ethical way.
