A (re)territorialização kaingang no espaço urbano a partir dos saberes-fazeres: o Centro Cultural Vãre em Londrina, PR

Abstract

RESUMO: A pesquisa concentra-se na discussão sobre a territorialização da população originária Kaingang no Centro Cultural Vãre, em Londrina, PR., Tais indígenas, pertencem a Aldeia Água Branca que faz parte da Terra Indígena Apucaraninha (entre os municípios de Londrina e Tamara), considerando as reconfigurações e as características que marcam o espaço de sociabilidade e compartilhamento da cultura e da identidade, enfatizando o caráter simbólico do território ancestral, a partir da ressignificação desse fragmento do território Kaingang às margens do Ribeirão Cambé, na zona urbana. A literatura sobre essas populações é extensa e traz uma diversidade de abordagens teóricas e metodológicas. A perspectiva metodológica deste trabalho, pautou-se no levantamento de dados históricos, na observação e registro dos saberes e fazeres do Povo Kaingang, em tela, nas relações socioculturais e ambientais para o conhecimento da mobilidade do Povo Kaingang em um momento histórico em que essas populações indígenas realizavam seus deslocamentos pelo território caracterizados pela continuidade e descontinuidade e retomada dos espaços ancestrais, amparados na resiliência dos seus saberes-fazeres.

ABSTRACT: This research focuses on the discussion of the territorialization of the Kaingang indigenous population at the Vãre Cultural Centre in Londrina, PR, These indigenous people belong to the Água Branca Village, which is part of the Apucaraninha Indigenous Land (between the municipalities of Londrina and Tamara), considering the reconfigurations and characteristics that mark the space of sociability and sharing of culture and identity, emphasizing the symbolic character of the ancestral territory, based on the re-signification of this fragment of Kaingang territory on the banks of the Ribeirão Cambé, in the urban area. The literature on these populations is extensive and includes a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches. The methodological perspective of this work was based on a survey of historical data, observation and recording of the Kaingang people's knowledge and practices, and socio-cultural and environmental relations, in order to gain an understanding of the Kaingang people's mobility at a time in history when these indigenous populations moved around the territory, characterized by continuity and discontinuity and the retaking of ancestral spaces, supported by the resilience of their knowledge and practices.
