Resumo
Esse trabalho abordou a capacidade energética e o uso e ocupação do solo em Lençóis Paulista. O município de Lençóis Paulista possui grande parte de suas terras agrícolas cultivadas com cana-de-açúcar e reflorestamentos de eucalipto e pinus. No município estão localizadas indústrias que aproveitam energia proveniente de cogeração de energia. Neste, encontra-se uma usina de açúcar e álcool que, além de produzir álcool, através do reaproveitamento do bagaço, gera energia elétrica para uso próprio, uma indústria de celulose e papel que reaproveita os resíduos florestais também para produzir energia elétrica para abastecimento interno; e uma indústria que faz reciclagem e produção de óleo lubrificante. As indústrias que utilizam como matéria prima a cana de açúcar e o eucalipto são autossuficientes através do sistema de cogeração de energia. O município de Lençóis Paulista, nos últimos anos, vem apresentando consideráveis índices de crescimento econômico e social. Os produtos oriundos do setor sucroalcooleiro, óleo lubrificante e combustível têm abastecido o mercado regional e nacional, revelando um grande potencial econômico e energético no município, além da capacidade energética na produção rural lençoense. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo diagnosticar o uso do solo, analisar se as Áreas de Preservação Permanente estão regulares de acordo com o Código Florestal Brasileiro (1965) e o reaproveitamento da biomassa para geração de energia. Em relação ao uso e ocupação do solo, a pesquisa demonstrou como o solo está dividido (culturas agrícolas e zona urbana), bem como destacou as Áreas de Preservação Permanente e áreas de conflito. Todas essas informações estão contidas em mapas elaborados através de Sistema de Informações Geográficas. No entanto, ficou claro que as leis ambientais são pouco respeitadas...
This work approached the energetic capacity and the use and occupation of land in Lençóis Paulista. The city of Lençóis Paulista has relevant share of their agricultural lands cultivated with sugar cane and reforesting of eucalyptus and pine. Industries that make use of the energy cogeneration are located at the city, such as a sugar and ethanol plant that, besides producing ethanol through the reuse of bagasse, generates electrical energy for its own use; a factory of cellulose and paper that also reuses the forest residues for the generation of electrical energy for its own use; and an industry that recycles and produces lubricant oil. The industries that use as raw material the sugar cane and eucalyptus are self-sufficient through the energy cogeneration system. In the last years, the city of Lençóis Paulista has had considerable indices of social and economic growth. The products arising from the sugar and ethanol sector, lubricant oil and fuels have supplied the regional and national markets, revealing a big economic and energetic potential at the city, besides the energetic capacity of the rural production of the city. This present work had the objective of diagnosing the land use, analyzing if the Permanent Preservation Areas (APP) are regular according to the Brazilian Forest Code (1965) and the biomass reuse for the generation of energy. Regarding the use the land occupation, the research showed how the land is divided (agriculture cultures and urban zone), as well as highlighted the Permanent Preservation Areas and conflict areas. All these information are contained in maps prepared through the Geographic Information System. The study also shows that the environment laws are not respected, once both in the urban and rural areas, the APP are practically absent, causing losses to the environment and to the local population
